Multiple Address Validation Errors on Checkout Page

Since the latest WooCommerce update, I am getting multiple validation errors on the cart and checkout pages. This happens before any information is entered and should not happen unless a field is missed.

I’m unable to attach a screenshot at this time.

Yes those are the issues I’m talking about, they shouldn’t happen unless a field is missed correct?

Here is the screenshot.

To replicate the error, add any product to the cart then proceed through the checkout, You should see multiple validation errors. I confirmed that this issue still persists as of my the time I post this.

1. “We couldn’t verify the shipping address you entered. Please review and ensure it’s accurate before placing your order.”
2. “Name is required.”
These errors typically appear only when fields are left blank or contain incorrect information, not before any input is provided. It’s worth checking if any plugin settings or code snippets are affecting your checkout form. To identify the cause, try the following steps:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Five
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To determine which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. Hey @shameemreza

I had a feeling that the issue was with WooCommerce Shipping plugin. I first deactivated WooCommerce Shipping and tested the checkout page; The problem was gone.

Next, I reactivated the plugin and tested the checkout page once more. The problem came back.

Then I uncheck the address validation box in WooCommerce shipping setting and tested again. The problem was no longer there.

I believe the problem lies within the newly added validation at at checkout update in WooCommerce shipping.

Hey there!

Thanks for all the troubleshooting you’ve done so far.

I just wanted to confirm – when you discovered that unchecking the address validation box resolved the issue, were all plugins disabled except for WooCommerce Core and the WooCommerce Shipping plugin?

I want to make sure that no other plugin could be interfering.
