Support » Fixing WordPress » Multimedia content in RSS feeds: how to?

  • Hi…

I need to find a way to have my multimedia content:
    – pictures
    – audio
    – youtube video or normal video

To be shown in my RSS feeds.

Is there any way to do that?

I saw recently a website done with MovableType that has the youtube videos in the RSS, of course they are only images that links to the website but at least it works.

    Thanks

  • Doesn’t feedburner offer videos and audio in the RSS type?

hi, i use feedburner for my feeds and video is supported, also use smart you tube as a plugin which adds videos to rss feeds, images are no problem, the you tube videos will play in an rss agregator like feed demon, but not always if opening with a browser, which is normal.
I only currently use you tube, for other formats you could try something like the multibox plugin or similar.
    hope it helps.
    mike.

    Thank you for the tips.

I never used feedburner, it’s an external service?
    Wich plugin should I use?

Will that be compatible with nextgen-gallery pictures?

My point is that I would like to make “feedable” this blog:
    http://www.nokao.com
As you can see I have some problems:
    http://www.nokao.com/feed

My embedded videos show in my Feedburner RSS feed, but they do not show up in the Feedburner email subscriber’s emails? They are straight embedded code into the post, not using a plugin.

    Any ideas?
