Multilocalization via WPMLBlog Plugin or Not?

  • Greetings,

    A client of an upcoming website design project is thinking about having a multilingual website in the future. For starters the site will be only in English. And after that the client will demand the site in Turkish. I have done research about multilingual WordPress websites and came across with WPMLBlog and WPMLCMS. I was wondering which way to choose on this issue.

    Whether to use this plugin or just make the site structure such as;
    …/tr/index.html
    …/en/index.html
    And on homepage add a language flag plugin and link it to the 2nd site?

    By the way I assume that the second choice will be a hard work, to organize all the links and such. Create the folders for two languages or so? (I have only predictions about this way. Please fill free to share your tips and experiences.)

    So, what do you think? Thanks for reading and sharing!
    (I have posted this topic in ‘Plugin&Hack’ section but then I have realized that this section will be more proper. Sorry for the double posting.)
    A.
