 * I’m using WPML to create a multilingual site and cannot find a way to translate
   the Genesis enews extended widget – the only element that is translateable is
   the widget title.
 * I’d also like to translate the text, the value fields and the button.
 * I’m hooking the widget up to MailChimp (which works great), but I’d like to be
   able to have a separate mailing list for each language.
 * How can I go about this?

 * Hi,
 * Are you wanting to translate the options that the administrator sees (via wp-
   admin Appearance–>Widgets) or what is displayed to your website visitors?

 * hi brandon,
    sorry for my late respone, assumed I would be emailed when you answered.
 * I would like to achieve to things:
 * 1. translate what appears on the site (that isn’t possible right now – currently
   only the title translates)
 * 2. I would like to hook up separate mailing lists for each language.

 * I don’t own WPML, so I’ll have to dig around some. My initial scan of their site
   didn’t provide documentation on how it works enough for me to know if there’s
   a way to make it compatible.
 * The plugin is multilingual in the standard WordPress way and I know works with
   qTranslate. I’ll let you know as I find anything.
 * Be sure to “subscribe to the topic” (on the right hand side, under About this
   Topic when logged in).
 * Cheers!

 * thank you – I’ve found a workaround for now (using the multilingual text widget),
   so no rush. but I would prefer to use your plugin.

 * I’ve requested a developer’s account with WPML. Once approved, I’ll dive in and
   see what I can do. 🙂

 * Another update: I have a developer’s account and WPML is reviewing the plugin
   to advise their suggestions for compatibility.

 * I’m getting a bit of a run-around from WPML now…after checking in after just
   shy of a week, they’re referring me to a tutorial on theme compat and telling
   me to resubmit after I go over that.
 * I’m pushing them on it; will report back as I have further information. Thanks!

 * Interested and following along. I have just started using your plugin on Hebrew
   site with WPML. When I go right to left the email field is pushed to the right.
   You can see at [http://u2nations.com/portfolio/he/](http://u2nations.com/portfolio/he/).
   Do I have to create a rtl.css for the plugin or is there another way?
 * Many thanks

 * Haven’t heard back from them yet…been poking them.
 * Out of complete honesty, I don’t know. I haven’t had to do work with RTL before.
   The plugin doesn’t ship with CSS (relying on the theme) and I know Genesis 2.0
   will come with a RTL.css. Not sure though if that is aimed for the default/new
   child themes or will help everyone out.
 * In short, I think rtl.css is the best route.

 * I just heard back from WPML folks saying that Genesis eNews Extended is compatible
   with their plugin with no changes needed.
 * I’m not clear if that means WPML has come out with an update to have it do what
   we were asking them or what exactly. I’ll try to do some testing on it this weekend,
   but wanted to let you know they gave me the thumbs up.
