    Hello Mr Joast

First, thank you for your excellent plugin.
I am developing a multilingual e-commerce version of a website.

Setting woocommerce with WPML and Yoast SEO is ok, but there is just a strange thing about main shop page with woocommerce. You consider it (at the same time) as a “page” (wordpress) and also as a “custom post archive” (woocommerce):

    1) As a “page” we have the classical metabox “Yoast SEO” were we can set a “Focus Keyword”, “SEO Title”, “Meta description”… (and so on). Perfect for multi-lingual websites.
But all that settings are not functional because it is a “custom post archive”.

    2) As a “custom post archive” we can only set only for all language one “SEO TITLE” and one “Meta Description”.
But no keyword … (and so on).
Multi-lingual websites are just ignored in here.

There is no solution even with you “glue” woocommerce SEO plugin (I have tried with a developer who bought it). In this case WPML plugin does not help either.

Could you please implement in a future update (i hope soon), the choice between a “page” behavior or a “custom post archive” behavior. that will be very useful for multilingual websites.

    Thanks
    Regards

    Hi!

Since catastrophic major update version 3.x.x, and no support for free users of Yoast SEO, i have migrate easily all my web sites to the excellent free plugin The SEO Framework which is free, light weight, fast and with a stunning effective support. 🙂

For this specific problem, few month ago, i have done some kind of tweak, making some .htaccess complex redirections to another customized shop page.

But know, i dont use Yoast anymore, then i have a normal shop Page working nice with WPML.

    Regards
