    Hi Boschi,

This can not be done via the settingspage of my plugin because it will change it for all languages.

If your multilingual plugin has its own page that contains all theme/plugin strings, you can translate it there. As far as I know the popular plugin WPML has this feature.

My plugin is translated in German. If your dashboard has both languages installed, and you’re plugin is using these languages, it will also use the translation of my plugin. In that case you don’t have to translate it into German.

    Hi Guido,
    thanks for your help.

if your dashboard has both languages installed

    Which dashboard do you mean?

    Regards
    Michael

    Hi,

I mean the Site Language set in Settings > General.

If you have English (default) but also German installed, the so called German language pack (translation) of my plugin will also be downloaded to your website (folder wp-content > languages > plugins). Meaning, if your multilingual plugin uses the languages of your WordPress install, it will also use the German translation of my plugin.

    Thanks Guido 🙂
