Sitemap is now showing /es URLs, only URLs under /

I followed all the guides you and TranslatePress have in your blogs and still not working.

When I access the pages I see the hreflang in all of them, but still, sitemap is not generated properly (yes, I tried to disable and re-enable sitemap + disable and re-enable the plug-in)

    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @gengisc,

Thanks for reaching out about your multilingual sitemap. The Yoast SEO plugin does not have a way to parse out different sitemaps for different languages because Google and other search engines do not require it. We add all the languages to the same sitemap. So, all posts/pages (regardless of language) will appear on the post/page sitemap, and the same happens for any other post type. Doing it this way will not hurt the SEO or how Google crawls your site. Your multilingual plugin adds the necessary language information on the pages themselves.

This means that, for instance, for pages, you will find out the different language versions of the page when Google crawls the page, and you can check the source code of those pages to find out the language pages you have created, like <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”. You can read more about the hreflang tag here.

Well, all the guides show how you see example.com/ and example com/es in the SAME sitemap. Whereas on my sitemap I only see non /es/ URLs.

Not sure if that’s what you mean. Could you check in the sitemap URL I provided?

Am I correct that you are using TranslatePress? You also need the SEO Pack Add-on – this premium add-on for TranslatePress lets you apply the TranslatePress interface to Yoast SEO metadata, image alt text, Facebook and Twitter tags, and more. You’ll also be able to create a multilingual XML sitemap with Yoast SEO. You can learn more at https://translatepress.com/yoast-seo-multilingual-tutorial/

All has been done following those tutorials.

And under <loc> on the sitemap there are not two hreflang as the tutorial mentions even though if you enter the website it’s on the <head>.

Please, check the sitemap of the URL provided in the original message.

For the record, I do have the paid SEO Add-on

    Thank you.

    Hello @gengisc

This forum is reserved for supporting the free version of Yoast SEO. Your site is using a premium add-on (Yoast SEO WooCommerce) so this thread has been marked as resolved per the forum guidelines.

Please contact our support team for assistance if you have an active premium subscription. How can I get premium support?

I’m using the paid TranslatePress SEO Add-on, not YoastSEO.

    Please check my previous message

As mentioned, you have Yoast SEO WooCommerce on that website. Also, the issue is specific to your site and needs more troubleshooting which can’t be done on the Forum.

So how can I get support for this? Because last year I paid for Yoast Premium and I wasn’t even getting my emails answered?

I hope you understand that given my experience with your “premium support”, I’m not willing to pay another year until this is solved.
