    Hi all,

I am facing an issue about re-directs within multiple languages.

The main language of my website is German and if anyone changes to English, there will be e.g. test.com/en/sign-in instead of test.com/sign-in

Within the sign-in page the new customer will come to your default ultimate-member-registration from on a new page by clicking on “register”

But instead of going to test.com/en/register the English speaking customer will be directed to test.com/register and that’s the German page.

So my issue is NOT about translations, it’s about keep the user in his chosen language area.
And this issue will apply to e.g. the email-activation as well.

    What can I do?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Dany

    Hi @kinonaned

Could you please tell us what translation plugin you’re using? Also, please confirm what version of UM you’re using on your site?

UM is Version 2.2.5 and I am using Polylang

The interesting thing is: I found out yesterday, that there should the small flags per E-Mail (in the settings) or that there should be the language to define per form.

    But it isn’t.

In my wordpress pages I do have the option to switch the language and when I am translating a page, it works properly πŸ™

    Hi @kinonaned

Did you follow the steps in the link when using the PolyLang with UM?

I tried what you suggested and it works great – THANK YOU!

    Unfortunately expect one thing:

within the ultimate member – user roles – registration options – Require Email Activation:
there you can enter a text with “Personalize the custom message” or enter an URL for Redirect

Unfortunately both options stay the same even if am switching the language πŸ™

I took a look at the string translation of Polylang but there is nothing about Ultimate Member

Do you have any suggestion please?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Dany

I found a second things that unfortunately is not to choose per language even if I am switching the language

Ultimate Members – Settings – General:

    User page
    Login page
    Register page
    Members page
    Logout page
    Account page
    Password Reset page

they all remain the same despite switching the language πŸ™

Yesterday … I was happy too early

The E-Mail setting doesn’t work either

It seems to work because if you are switching the language then you find f.e.

    “Konto aktualisiert”-E-Mail
    and
    Account Updated Email

and one is German and the other English

but both languages have the same content πŸ™

    Hi @champsupertramp

I thought about your question and I removed a plugin from which I thought there is maybe a conflict. And yes, now it works!

Thanks very much for your patience and time!

    Issue resolved!
