    Hi there Code People!

Thanks so much for this plug-in! I’m testing it on my site and I also want to be able to recommend it to my clients, but I wonder about the way this can be used in a multilingual site. I use qtanslate and [:en] [:nl] etc. notation in multilingual forms or widget areas. Can I do something similar or use a .mo file? Could you explain? I would be most grateful!

  • I’ve found the solution to part of the problem, so I thought I’d share it with you in case somebody else was looking to do the same.

If you have a multilingual site (using qTranslate like I do), you can make the text messages in the validation settings respond to the chosen language by doing this for your languages (mine are nl and en):

<!--:nl-->Some Dutch text goes here<!--:--><!--:en-->Some English text goes here<!--:-->

Hope this is helpful to you too 🙂 I’ve tried the same for the text in the actual form, but that won’t work. Maybe someone else can solve that mystery?

    Hi Dominique,

We are working in making the form compatible with mo/po files. The current version just allow entering the text in the desired language.

Thank you for using the plugin!
