  • 1. “Count” vertical position – Right now, it at the top (relative to the hands).
    – Any chance to move it the middle (vertically)?

    2. Can I change with icon… let’s say change it to a “heart” shape?
    – Where are the files can I mess with? What kind of graphics?

    Hello @sexilyspeaking,

    1: Count in middle of the content cannot be provided as generic setting.
    Although there is work around for this, please follow steps;
    step 1: Enable “Hide Applaud for this post?” (This setting is found on individual post edit page) and update page
    step 2: Use shortcode “[wp_applaud]” in middle of the content to display applaud in the desired position.

    2: Add below custom CSS within your website;

    .wp-applaud {
    	background-image: url(http://link.com/heart.png);
    }

    .wp-applaud.active {
    	background-image: url(http://link.com/heart-active.png);
    }

    Let me know if you need any other help.

    1. I think you misunderstood … I am trying to REsize & Position the icon.

    See this test sample at http://8.ststyle.com/

    I am able to make the button bigger (by changing the height like this

    .wp-applaud {
    margin: 0 0 20px 0 !important;
    padding-left: 100px !important;
    text-decoration: none;
    height: 75px;
    }

    .wp-applaud.active {
    margin: 0 0 20px 0 !important;
    padding-left: 100px !important;
    text-decoration: none;
    height: 75px;
    }

    BUT there are problems:-

    a. I can center the button VERTICALLY to line up with the “share buttons” on the right?
    (playing with “margin: 0 0 20px 0 !important;” can only bring the button down, not up.

    b. the “active” button size never change (even though I put the same thing in “.wp-applaud.active” (as above)… This makes the button “transform violently” when clicked?

    c. The count number font size never change.

    Q1: How to I align the button so that it looks centered (compared to the shared buttons on the right) and be proportional (both button images & active button image size )?
    Q2: Can you change the Count font size?
    Q3: Can you position the Count font position( Up and down)?

    2. I noticed you use image format .svg … Should I use svg, does it make any difference as compared to png?

    Thank you again

    A plugin suggestion – Share Button for Phone Apps

    I have been looking for this solution to no avail.

    The problem is I wanted to wrap website using webviewer app (for appearance or performance reasons).

    1. Most of the share buttons you see on the http://8.ststyle.com/ either don’t work in the webviewer app or they will be pointing back to http://8.ststyle.com/, which is no good. It will nice if it can point to a predetermined URL prefix like http://ststyle.com/ (I usually use a non-index suddomain site with header chopped off etc. for webviewer app).

    So far, there is nothing can activate the phone apps that I can embed on website.

    So, the solution I am looking is basically a “mobile share button” that I can place in WordPress.

    Also, it will be heavenly if you can make media sharing using the phone app.

    Your applaud plugin works beautifully in webviewer. So, what is missing is a tool to share the post, better still, the post’s media – it will be a killer application.

    Email me if you’re consider to explore… buZZlima [a] gmail . com … I’d happy to contribute.

    Hello,

    You may have to hire a developer to do so.

    All the Wp Applaud related changes can be done, but you may have to take assist of a frotend developer and also a consultant to go over other changes.
