 * Hiyas,
 * I’ve been playing around with WPMU 2.8.1 for a few months now. Trying to understand
   if what I need can be done.
 * I have multiple domains mapped to multiple directories in my public_html directory.
   What I want is to install WP into my public_html directory (or cgi-bin) such
   that this backend can control all of my domains mapped to subdirectories in the
   public_html directory. The MU version is not really designed to do that. It appears
   that the goal of the MU is to have multiple users within a given domain creat
   their own blogs. That’s not what I need.
 * I need a setup for multiple domains, with a single blog in each.
 * Do I need to install a separate WP for each domain?
 * Next, since MU doesn’t apparently provide me any benefit (pending answers to
   above), I want to use the WP instead. How are the databases different? Can I
   use a back-up of my WPMU database and expect the WP installation to make sense
   out of it?
 * Thanks!
