# Multi-Users

 * So I’ve set up a WP-installation, and have multiple users on it. Before I set
   up this installation I’d tried several times to set up WPMU without luck. There
   seemed to be a problem with the smarty-installation.
    That’s not why I’m here,
   though. I’d like to propose that you should be able to view different users’ 
   posts the same way you can view different categories, with different themes and
   the like, just not like an archive. I don’t really see why there’s should be 
   a completely other project for a WP with multiple users.

 * 1. Actually the thread you linked to was about a totally different issue; it 
   was just the OP’s unfamiliarity with WP that he posted the wrong question 🙂
   
   2. WP is mainly a “personal publishing tool” (see [Home](http://wordpress.org/)
   link at the top) – I guess that’s why isn’t focused on multiuser features.

 * I think the OPs question is ‘would it be possible to have author templates in
   the same way as there are category templates’.
    I.e author-1.php, author-2.php
   etc..
 * If you want to go the full multiple authors and themes route, you could take
