• Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to do something with your plugin. I currently have four Instagram accounts passing into my feed, but I only want 9 photos to display. Currently, I have the plugin set to display 2 from each account. However, that leaves me with 8 photos, and with 3 photos displayed per row, I am always missing the ninth photo.

Furthermore, I really don’t like the idea of displaying two from each user id. I’d like to be able to display the latest photos in the selected accounts up to a certain total number? For instance, the nine latest photos from these four account. It’s fine if one account isn’t represented because it’s been a while since they posted.

I hope I am making sense.

    Hey Bobby,

    You’re making perfect sense 🙂

Currently, as Instagram doesn’t allow us to request photos from multiple users in one request, the plugin makes 4 separate requests and then just adds the 2 latest photos from each user to the feed. We’re planning to change this in a future update so that we get more photos from each user and then display the latest 9 photos from all 4 users in the feed. Doing this requires a re-build of the way the core of the plugin works. We have actually re-built our Pro version recently and so it is possible to do this in that version, but haven’t re-built the free version in the same way yet.

As an interim fix you could request 3 photos from each user and then hide the last 3 photos in the feed using CSS or JavaScript.

Let me know whether that helps, or if you have any other questions at all, and I hope you’re having a good Friday.

    John
