# Multi-site total posts, total comments

 * I cannot find any function whether built-in or as a plugin to display the number
   of
    * Total posts made in the network or * Total posts by blog or * Total posts
   by username
 * Can it be that such a simple stat is really missing?

 * Nope. It only shows the statistics for single sites in the network but not for
   the whole network.

 * Well, given that the network is a collection of sites, that sort of makes sense.
   The data is recorded on multiple tables. You’d need to make calls to all of them
   and add them up. You could use that plugin as a starting point.
