 * Hello WP,
 * I have enable Multisite feature on my main site **example.com**.
 * My main site is under:
    **public_html** – – – **+example.com**
 * So the question is:
 * Should I create and install Sub-Domain under:
    **public_html** or **+example.

 * public_html.
 * Because that is likely where your host has pointed the wildcards IF they support
   them. Did you ask them?

 * Thanks Andrea,
 * No they do not support wild Card, But they do support sub-domains.
    You have
   to first manually create a sub-domain in C-Panel of the host account.
 * Do you think Word Press MS has to be used in this scenario and what are your
   views now..

 * You’ll run into issues as you can’t tell the manual subdomain to go look in an
   alternate folder. It makes a physical folder on your server.
 * Just pick subfolders then.

 * Thanks Andrea for the valuable suggestions and help.
 * I will stick to your expert opinion and shift to either subfolders or else forget
   about the money paid and choose another hosting.
 * Now I have Two more questions keeping in view the above scenario.
 * If I choose Subfolder:
 * **1:**
    **example.com/site1** Should I put site1 under public_html or example.
   com
 * **2:**
    Do I need to install wordpress on site1 as well.
 * Chao.

 * 1 – site 1 *is* example.com. Whern you enable the network, that is site 1. Site
   2 will be example.com/site2.
 * 2. no, that;s the whole point – to have one codebase, ne install and many sites.
