Is it possible in a multi-site setup to just run a code snippet on just one site?

Or does each snippet run across the whole network of sites?

Or do you have to copy and paste a snippet to each site in a network?

The FAQ seemed to only talk about activating it, and not what happens to the individual snippets.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

It definitely is possible to do this.

When you use Code Snippets on a network installation, you have a few options for how to do this.

You can Network Activate the plugin, which will add a menu to each individual site for running snippets only on that site, as well as a menu in the network admin for adding snippets which run on every site on the network.

Otherwise, you can choose individual sites to enable the plugin on. This has the same effect as Network Activating the plugin, except you can choose sites to not be affected by the plugin at all. Activating the plugin on the main site will also enable the network admin interface, which will allow you to add snippets which run on every site where the plugin is active.

Additionally, in the network admin interface, you can add snippets which are not network activated but instead appear as an option on individual sub-sites. They are added and edited once in the network dashboard, but can be activated separately.
