We launched a website for a client about a month ago and are experiencing some issues. Not knowing our clients IT person setup their intranet using their domain name. Their intranet and domain are hosted one place and the website is at another. The issue is internal computers cannot access the website, however all external computers/devices can.
Let me say upfront it is not an option to have their IT redo their intranet properly to not use their public domain name (that would be easy and the right way to resolve this issue).
We wanted to setup a mirror of the site in which internal staff would be able to access the site. However, we have not been able to accomplish this. The site is a multi-site and as I mentioned, the domain is hosted on a different server/provider.
The goal of the mirror site is to provide employees access to the site since they aren't able to use the main/public domain.
Can anyone advise on how to accomplish this?
