# Multi Guest Poster — Encrypted Code?

 * This plugin adds spam links to every post and has encrypted code in at least 
   the multi-guest-poster/core/license.php file. I assume that is where the code
   for the links resides.
 * This is not consistent with Open Source and it shouldn’t be in the WordPress 
   Plugins directory and available for auto install in WP blogs.

 * Yeah, that’s just plain stupid.
 * The first line of that file reads
 *     ```
       <?php /* Reverse engineering of this file is strictly prohibited. File protected by copyright law and provided under license. */
       ```
   
 * And there’s no reason to read past that. I’ve sent an email for `plugins@wordpress.
   org` about it.
 * It’s the holiday so I’m not expecting a reply soon but Mark’s pretty good about
   this sort of thing.
