Is this with latest available version ?
2.13.0 August 19th, 2021
New: Fresh new UI for managing Stripe accounts
Or using 2.12.3 from August 12th, 2021 ?
I have now updated the plugins to these versions:
Give 2.1.12.3
Fee recovery 1.9.2
Manual donations 1.5.0
I can’t update to Give 2.13.0 because in that case the page including the Multi-Form block gets corrupted. The error provided is:
TypeError: this.activateMode is not a function

Updating the plugins solved most of the issues. These are the remaining ones:
BUG #1 – RECOVERY FEE BUG: when the donor opts in to cover the processing fees the Multi-Form blocks includes the fees paid in the total amount raised.
BUG#2: When I update a donation the amount raised in the Multi-Form block is not updated.
While testing I have also found this bug:
BUG #3 – RECOVERY FEE BUG: if the donor chooses a payment gateway with fee recovery disabled, the checkbox to opt-in and pay the fees will not show up when switching to a gateway that has fee recovery enabled. This happens also when a gateway with fee recovery disabled is selected as a default.
Hi @ilconterik,
Glad you reached out. I can help you with that.
1. When I import donations from a CSV the amount may or may not increase.
2. When I add manual donations the amount does not increase.
For 1 and 2, you can refresh the stats by navigating to Donations > Tools > Data > Recount Stats and then use the recalculate options available for you.
3. If the donor is covering the payment gateway fees, the additional amount paid is added to the total amount raised (and it shouldn’t).
We considered the possibility of calculating goal progress as net revenue, however we are going to maintain the current behavior of GiveWP goal progress which is calculated as gross revenue:
Goal Progress = Donation Amount + Any Covered Fees
If a donor donates $100 and chooses to cover a $3 fee, then there is $103 of goal progress.
If a donor donates $100 and declines to cover a $3 fee, then there is $100 of goal progress.
Consider a scenario in which there is $100 remaining for a goal to be reached. We want to ensure that donating $100 actually reaches that goal, regardless of whether a fee is covered. It would be disappointing for a donor to give $100 with expectations of meeting the goal, only to find that they came up a few dollars short due to a fee deduction. We never want donors to have this feeling of disappointment, so we are not going to deduct that fee from their goal progress just because they declined to cover the fee.
Please let us know if you have further questions on this or need any additional assistance!
Hey @ilconterik,
Since you are using premium add-ons, please open a ticket on Priority Support (https://givewp.com/priority-support/) because we are not allowed to support paid plugins here in the WP Org forums.
Thanks for using GiveWP! Have a great day.
Hi @matheusfd,
Thank you for the support you offered.
Regarding the choice of not including the fees towards the reaching of the goal – you should really give us the choice of including it or not. There is no reputational risk for GiveWP because the donors don’t know which piece of software we are using. On the other hand, we can’t always budget accurately for the processing fees. Think of Stripe that charges a percentage + 20p per donation: I can’t know in advance the number of donations. What I was planning to do was to add a FAQ explaining why the progress towards the goal is slower.
