Multi-Database-Problem

Hi,

I use for these Website http://www.guenstige-kfzversicherungen.de/kfz/Hamburg/ an own databaseconnection (to get data from a geo-database).

I define it in the top of the header.php.

Unfortunately wordpress loses the connection of the wordpress-database, so the menues arent shown anymore.

Wha can I do to allow multiple databaseconnections ?
