MU Questions (Existing Sites)

    so i have 4 blogs on 1 server all running wordpress 3.0.1 and all share a common database with different prefixes. So my question is is it possible to turn all 4 installs into 1 install using MU or am i too late since all of the sites already exist.

    basically i want to be able to have only 1 version of wordpress to update and plugins for the 4 existing blogs

    If the user base is the same for all blogs, it’s not too hard. Either install a new WordPress and import them all, or pick one to be your main site, upgrade it to multiple, and import the rest.

    I agree, I just did it over the weekend with 4 existing sites… it’s so nice to do EVERYTHING at one time, including blog posts that hit multiple blogs 🙂
