It’s been four years since I have converted my sites from Movable Type to WordPress software. I am thoroughly happy with WordPress and while I wouldn’t credit myself as an expert by any means, I know my stuff or can figure it out in the end (with a little research — yay Google).
Anyway, I’ve had someone approach me about upgrading their web site and I presented the idea of using WordPress instead of MT for their new version. He was rather receptive to that as he had heard good things about WordPress, and I’m going through a checklist of things that would have to be handled.
One of those things would be taking current graphics and the current site layout and implementing them on a new theme on WordPress. of course the theme certainly needs to be tweaked for WordPress usage but is there any easy way to take what has been designed for MT and convert it to a WordPress theme?
Just curious. Thanks!
