.mpg, "File type does not meet security guidelines"

    A standard, small-size video-clip can not be uploaded because the “File type does not meet security guidelines”.

    It is a .mpg file, what on earth is wrong with WordPress? What kind of security is it to outlaw uploads of .mpg video?
