mp4 from self hosted link to popup player / lightbox?

    Greetings,

    I am using EasyBox FancyBox for popup PDF and images from files stored on server that are linked from the content. I like to reserve the option that people can download the material by right clicking on the link. I do not want to embed. I am looking for a plugin or method to allow popup from linked mp4 (h.264) files, ideally html5 method.

    I have tried a lot of different plugins including JW Player with no luck. When you click on the mp4 from different browsers it tries to download it.

    I don’t want to host the content outside of the server so no youtube please.

    Any suggestions?

    Any luck on this one?
    I´m trying to do something like that. I want to be able to link to .mp4 files that I´ve upload to wordpress media library and play them in a colorbox.

    I´ve tried almost everything. I can get the files to load in colorbox but it wont play, just the loading symbol is showing.

    My codec is h 264 – mpeg-4 avc (part 10) (avc1)

    Any help would be awesome.
