Mp4 files from external hosting – CDN

    Would be that possible? Tested your plugin with youtube, and it works really nicely.But I’m remaking my main site in wordpress and I was thinking of just using a cdn hosting like dropbox to show my most important videos ..I care to display them at the best quality .. and I’m not that happy that looking for my videos first results are from Youtube.
    I understand that using local videos will make that, but I would like not consuming bandwhit for videos..

    so, is it possible specifying a video url for a mp4 file outside the wordpress installation folder?
    I noticed that it works fine for the standard player, but if I try to do that with this plugin it doesn’t works..
    even installing the plugin media-helper doesn’t help..

    I guess is something to do with $videourl = wp_get_attachment_url( $meta[‘id’] );
    in php/general.php — right?

    for those struggling to make this working, with newer wordpress version all you need is a custom field and the video in this format: <video mp4= etc etc
