Nice plugin, I like it a lot. It would be even better if I could open MP3 audio and MP4 video files in a popup. I tried adding mp3 and mp4 extensions in the settings but my browser freezes.

Is this something that you have planned for future versions?

Hi, because FancyBox is not a media player (it is only an alternative way of presenting embedded media content) you will need a proper way to embed your MP3/4 media first. This can be done with a media player like JW Player for which you can see basic instructions on http://demo.status301.net/easy-fancybox-sandbox/boxed-jw-player/ or a simpler media player as provided by the Shortcode Embeds module in Jetpack as pêr example http://demo.status301.net/soundboxed/
