Moviong index.php to root folder issue

  • Hi,

I tried to move index.php from my /blog folder to my root folder as explain in the Codex.
Everything went perfectly, BUT one thing remains a problem, when I try to type an old address (something like http://blog.mydomain.com/1515-title-of-a-post ) I get an error message instead of being redirected to http://mydomain.com/1515-title-of-a-post .

I assumed this redirecting thing would be done by WordPress itself.

And I couldn’t find anyone writing about this problem. So maybe I’m missing something ?

    If anyone can help 🙂

    Eddy
