# Moving your wordpress site

 * Greetings,
 * I am having trouble trying to move my wordpress sites. I looked at countless “
   how to’s” I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong or missing.
 * I am trying to move my wordpress site from staxstone.com/sample to sealkingsealer.
   com. When I first tried this I downloaded eveything to my hard drive then I logged
   into the staxstone site and changed the site url to the sealking one and then
   downloaded the files again and uploaded them to sealking, of course this didn’t
   work so I did that trick to put those “define _site (www.example….” lines in 
   the functions.php but that didn’t work.
 * Please help as I am still new with using WordPress.
