Hello, I just moved my WP blog to a new domain. I didn’t change servers. I just added a new domain name to my server and made it my main domain name. My main domain name was bestspanishtutor.com and I changed it to http://www.TheSELVA.com.

My problem is that I moved the blog successfully but none of the plugins, widgets, or themes came with it. I don’t know what to do since the wp-content folder is already in my cpanel. I need to know how to get all the stuff that’s in my wp-content folder to show up on my blog. I’ll appreciate any help I get. Thank you.

  • Use FTP and copy the ‘old’ wp-content folder to your local computer

Then navigate to the new wordpress folder and upload the wp-content folder from your local machine to your host.

Thanks for your help! But what I didn’t do was activate the plugins or theme!
