Moving WordPress..

  • I would like to move my wordpress in to my parent directory some time near the future..
    I’m pretty sure that I must edit some files? or would just moving it all be fine?

  • Thanks, however, when I do that I get these errors –
    Warning: opendir(wp-style/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/jenny/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-style-switcher.php on line 71
    Warning: closedir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/jenny/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-style-switcher.php on line 78
    I have the wp-style-switcher plugin found at alexking.org

    Alex would be the best person to help with his plugin, but I’d suggest editing wp-style-switcher.php and changing where it says $path = "wp-style/"; to $path = "blog/wp-style/";

    Ok. thanks 🙂

    I did that but I get these errors –
    Warning: main(./blog/wp-blog-header.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/jenny/public_html/blog/index.php on line 3
    Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘./blog/wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/jenny/public_html/blog/index.php on line 3
    Strange..
