  • I have installed wordpress and decided that I want a static front page on example.com (which I set under the Reading option) and the blog part to go to example.com/blog

    I followed the instructions here:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

My WordPress address (URL) is set to: example.com/blog

Site address (URL) is set to: example.com

But now when I access example.com/blog I get the message that it couldn’t find what I was looking for.

Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.

    I’ve used this permalink structure:

    /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

I’m currently using the default 2010 theme.
