 * It’s quite straightforward:
 * 1. Compress and zip the entire /public_html directory
    2. Export the entire database
   3. Copy both to the new server 4. Unzip files. Into the new public_html 5. Import
   the entire database 6. Update wp-config.php with the new database settings 7.
   Make sure home_url and blog_url are updated in wp_options to the new URL 8. Update
   and re-save permalinks to be 100% safe
 * You’re done

 * Hi There are some other tools that work that make moving the site easier. Check
   out backupbuddy [https://ithemes.com/purchase/backupbuddy/](https://ithemes.com/purchase/backupbuddy/)
   by ithemes or you can do this with another one of my favorite tools called managewp.
   com. These make moving any site quick and easy. They also allow for backups.
   There are also some free options via plugins as well. You can check out [https://wordpress.org/plugins/dropbox-backup/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/dropbox-backup/)
   and [https://wordpress.org/plugins/backup/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/backup/)
 * I would also re-save permalinks as well!
 * Pointing your domain name — Find your new IP address … then simply go into your
   domain name registar and put in the new numbers to the new host. There are lots
   of great videos on this if you search on youtube as well if you want a step by
   step video instruction
 * Cheers!

 * My plugins link is not showing on the menu. I have 4.3. Is there a way to enable
   it?
 * Thanks.
