 * Greetings,
 * Well its kind of a really stupid mistake i made but i need help if there is any
   other way.
 * I had my personal site hosted and the hosting company closed down without notice.
   Thus I had managed to copy all the files from there to my computer.
 * Now I got Godaddy hosting and want the same post and themes back on it.
 * I read that I had to export all that before so I can import in this new hosting.
 * Is there a way I can do with just all files I copied from the old hosting and
   recover my posts and all.
 * Desperate 🙁
 * Thanks

 * No, your posts are in the database.
 * Unless one of the files you copied is a .sql backup file of your database, you
   can’t recover your posts.

   ftp access to my files.

 * Ask your hosts where the database backup file is. It’s also possible it’s a compressed.
   gz file

 * What’s in the kudrati.net.db file? Try opening it in a text editor and see if
   they are SQL statements.

 * Look around and see if you can find a file with SQL statements. Without that
   there’s no way to get your content back.

 * Import it into your new host’s database. They should provide a web based tool
   like phpmyadmin which will make it quite easy to do. If not, ask them for instructions.
 * You should review the instructions at [http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress)
