Moving webpage to a site without FTP

  • Hello!

Is it possible to move my webpage to a different site that doesn’t have FTP access. I designed my webpage in a free hosting site and now I want to transfer it over, but apparently, as is said to me, I can’t access FTP to do that. I only have the dashboard to work with. So, can I do it without FTP? Only solution that I have thought of is rebuilding the site again, but that means I still can’t access all the files.

    Thanks for any help.

I would strongly recommend that you do not use any hosting that does not allow FTP access. Access to files via FTP is vital in many situations.

Normally I wouldn’t, but I have no say in it. It’s a webpage for a kindergarten and the hosting is provided for me.

If you install WordPress on the new hosting, you could try importing all content over using Tools -> Export/Import, then installing all of the plugins you needed as well as the theme.
