# Moving to WordPress

 * I want to rebuild my site on WordPress. Can I do this without shutting down my
   current site, which is built on Rapidweaver.

 * Sure. Build WordPress in a subfolder and move it when you’re done 🙂

 * I’m not clear on how to do this. Do you mean create a sub-domain first and then
   redirect it? I have built on WP before but never rebuilt an existing site on 
   it.

 * No. I mean install WordPress to yourdomain.com/foldername
 * Build the site THERE without messing with your existing site.
 * Then either move it or let it run out of the subfolder while acting as in root.
