• I tried copying all files from the /wordpress directory and FTPing it to the new host. It gave me a ‘database not connected error’. I modified my config php file – put ‘local host’ and it now I get another error.

I can’t get into the blog to see if I can work on it from the inside.

I made a _db database file backup, and I exported all the data from the old (running) blog. I have two files with a lot of data – what do I do now?

I’ve read on wordpress.org about using phpMyAdmin but it seems to talk alot about the database files but nothing on the ‘core’ files.

Can anyone give me a procedure to follow to move the blog? Or tell me what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    Tim
