 * I’m having a hell of a time trying to find a plugin that will fit what I’m needing.
WordPress as it stands now, creates thumbnails in the gallery in posts by making
the center of the image the focal point and expanding out from there until it
achieves whatever size you set. What I’m needing to do is change that. Flckr
for example, displays a box the size of the thumbnail with your image in it and
allows you to click and drag the image until you have whatever part visible you
need. I’m looking for something similar in a wordpress plugin. Does such a thing
exist and if so could someone post a link to it as my searching hasn’t turned
   up anything yet.
