• Right, I have one theme at the moment – but I just got excited about doing some variations on it lol, plus I;m working on a couple of others , but that’s neither here nor there.

Right now I have the single theme in http://meadow.sekhu.net What I would like to do is this:

move all the contents including the posts from http://meadow.sekhu.net to something like themes.sekhu.net or whatever it’s called. I will create a new folder in my root called themes or something and then what do I do?

Are there any references that I need to change? I think I can leave the database as it is right? Beause I will still use the same database, but I’m just moving the files over and then I just change the subdomain in the login area? I want to get this right, so I don’t screw everything up and lose my work (as I almost did the other day!).

Anything else I should consider before moving stuff? I know that those that do check for an update will end up with a 404 but I guess I could leave a redirect for a few weeks and then change it.

Finally, would it be wrong of me to use the term wordpress or wordpressthemes as the prefix for the subdomain? so wordpress.sekhu.net or wordpressthemes.sekhu.net?

Please advise, as I don’t want to step on any toes.

    Thanks in advance
