# moving servers and character coding

 * Because Yahoo hosting is totally screwed up, I am having to move from one Yahoo
   server to another in order to switch my domain. This means that almost all of
   my server files will remain exactly the same, excuding those that directly reference
   my domain name (which I’ve alread replaced). Anyway, I followed the directions
   for moving servers from here: [http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/move/](http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/move/),
   and everything is up and running in a breeze except one thing: th character coding,
   Some of the characters, most notably the long dash, are showing up all fubared.(
   Look at rulebrittaniea.org for and example), I copied the database files exactly
   from the old server and everything on the new server is identical except for 
   this.
 * Any ideas where I went wrong?
