Okay, I have spend a few hours trying to figure this one out with their documentation, but no luck.

I am moving a podcast over to another site.

Have set up a 301 direct for the feeds, so that is okay.

On old site, the RSS was the set up as the main RSS.
On new site, the RSS for the podcast is set up as a podcast setting for a category.

Now here’s where I am stumped. I have a very old podcast on this site that I moved it to way back. And when I activate the plugin, it gives me all those settings in the main RSS, which seems to be causing havoc. For example, if I check out the new RSS for the category, it reverts to my full feed for my site. It appears I cannot delete that old RSS settings.

Any thoughts here or is this even clear enough?

PowerPress settings are saved in your WordPress database. If you migrated a WordPress site and copied database information, that may be why you’re seeing settings from the old site on the new site. One thing you can try is:
1.) Log into your WordPress site and hover over the PowerPress link in the left-hand sidebar menu. Click the settings link in the popup menu. Switch to Advanced Mode if you’re not already there.
2.) Click the Feeds tab and at the top, select “Do Not Enhance Feeds.” This should keep PowerPress from affecting any non-podcasting feeds.
3.) Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

See if that helps at all. Please report back with the results.

Hey Shawn, appreciate that, in fact I had tried that and still no luck. Some real buggery going on in there. Going to keep exploring deeper and see if I can figure it out.

    Can you provide this information:

1.) URL of the old podcast RSS feed, the one you’ve redirected.
2.) URL of the new podcast RSS feed, you said it’s a category feed.

    This URL:
    https://bobwp.com/category/ecommerce-podcast/feed/
    Redirects to Feedblitz:
    http://feeds.feedblitz.com/BobWP-WordPress

    This URL:
    http://dothewoopodcast.com/feed/podcast/
    Doesn’t redirect at all.

Are you sure you have the redirects set up properly?

Thanks for pointing those out… I think there is some settings I need to revisit. And also figure out these different feeds. I’m going to attack this with a clear head tomorrow and I’ll let you know how it goes or if I get any further. Really appreciate your time and efforts!!
