Moving my site from a redirect?

Ok, so right now my website is under the “updates” folder. So it is http://wwsmag.com/updates

I want to change that to http://wwsmag.com so i know I have to move all the files to the root of my directory…BUT, do I need to manually change ALL the links? And delete the ‘Updates’ part from EVERY link? Or is there something easier I can do?

You would first change the Site and Home URL under the Settings > General Settings to the new url, then move everything over. From there is should work flawlessly.

Ok, but that only changes my Permalinks. All the other stuff…like where the logo is being grabbed from, and the tabs at the top…I am probably going to have to do that manually. Correct?

    yes.

If the theme is not built where it is all dynamic, then yes you will need to do that.
