# Moving menu items – HELP

 * I’m trying to replace the standard menu area with a jQuery mega menu that I installed.
   I’ve succeeded in getting the jQuery menu to display, but now I want to take 
   out the standard menu.
 * Any idea what code I should be taking out to remove the standard menu from the
   header? Should I be looking in header.php or in styles.css?
 * Thank you.

 * No not yet, should I be doing that?
    Can I create a child theme in WordPress?
 * Thanks for your response, any help would be greatly appreciated, I’m taking this
   project on on my own and am fairly novice. Thanks very much.

 * Yes. Otherwise, when Graphene is updated, you’ll lose all of your changes.

 * Not within the Dashboard area, no, You have to create it on your computer and
   then upload to your WordPress site just like any other theme.

 * I’m working on the site for someone else with WP already installed, so I’m not
   sure how to access **wp-content/themes** on my computer? How can I go about creating
   the child theme?
