Moving jQuery Slider Out of WordPress Installation

    Hi,

I had a theme that included a jQuery slider on the home page. It worked fine, but I’ve gone back to a static site and have tried to move the files out of the wordpress directory and now the slider won’t work, even though I’ve changed the paths referenced in the <head> of the home page. (The photos just appear one on top of each other on the page, where as they’re supposed to fade one into another.)

Anyone have any idea why this would happen?

Thanks for any suggestions, and if someone can fix this for me, please let me know.

    Thanks!
    ginger

    Is that a plugin?

If the images appear on top of one another, that means that either jQuery is not set up, (i.e.) the javascript files are missing from your site and/or the css is missing.

Since you’ve moved your site to a static site, this really isn’t a WordPress issue.
