Support » Plugin: Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth » Moving Jetpack stats/subscribers from old to new site

  • Resolved James Reeves

I recently built a new version of my website with a staging url. When it was done, I moved the site to my primary domain and moved the old site to a different directory (../old).

Now they show up as two separate sites in my Jetpack account. I’d like to move the stats, followers, etc from my old site to the new one. How can I do this?

I’ve tried deactivating the Jetpack plugin for the old version, reconnecting Jetpack for the new one, etc but I still have two accounts for the same site. Is there a way I can move the stats and subscribers from my old site to the new one?

I have sent a support ticket but didn’t get a reply.

    Thank you for your help,

Sorry for the delay! We should be replying to your email today.

Thank you so much for sorting this out!

Is there a how-to or a follow-up to this request? I too would like to know how to get an old site’s stats/data in Jetpack into a redevelopment version of the old site for continuity’s sake and retaining all those past site stats on the .ORG installation. Is there any reference posts/tutorials on how this is accomplished?

Thanks in advance for sharing this valuable info.

Migrating Jetpack stats can only be done by our support staff, and we’ll need you to request it as the account that owns the Jetpack connection for the site, which we’re unable to verify here in the forums.

Please log into your account, and then you can submit a support ticket to our team at

    Ah, OK — thanks!
