• Hi There!

    I have this message at the top of my WP admin page:

    Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public
    To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to /nfs/c01/h02/mnt/34127/domains/martinique.org/html/blog/wp-content/backup-db

    I moved the “htaccess.txt” to the location suggested but nothing has changed.

    Is there another way of moving that file from the WP admin page?

    Thanks!
    boco

    htaccess.txt != .htaccess

    apache is not going to do anything with a file named htaccess.txt

    and neither is wordpress or that plugin/

    the file needs to be named .htaccess .. just like it says, not htaccess.txt not I-want-to-call-this-whatever-i-want.txt

    how many posts on this forum could be spared if folks just read the instructions.

    I blame bill gates.
