Moving from WordPress.com to self hosted – how to remove domain redirection?

    Hi!

    I am going to move a WordPress from WordPress.com to another host. However, I can not log in to the new self-hosted WordPress, since the domain is still redirecting to my WordPress.com-blog.

    Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

    you can’t login to where exactly? to your admin panel?

    Exactly, I want to log in at my admin panel at mydomain.com/wp-admin, but it’s redirecting me to my dashboard at wordpress.com…

    the domain is still redirecting to my WordPress.com-blog.

    Did you point the domain at the new host’s ip address and configure the host to associate it with wherever your site is located? This isn’t a WP issue so if you need more help, you should ask your host.
