 * I have been looking through documentation but could not find an answer.
 * I am wondering if it is possible to install wordpress in a subdirectory of my
   site for development purposes, and then move it to the root directory of my domain
   for public viewing when it is completed. Is it as simple as moving all the files
   up to the root or is it more involved/imposisble?
 * Thank you very much for any help!
 * Tom

 * I don’t know where were you looking at…

   = one option [Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory)
   = second option
