I have a problem with the permalink structure, more specifically with the comments. The link brings me to the right address, yet comments are not shown. I've described the problem in detail in my first WP blog (complete with screenshot and link to txt file with my current rewrite rules) at:
Yes, I've used the search function and read all the other threads about mod_rewrite (actually solved one problem that way) but now I'm really stuck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess it's a problem with the skinning code.

I'm afraid it isn't a problem with the skinning code, as I've removed that feature for now, and the problem still persists. Besides, when I used skinning but no permalink structure, it was working fine as well.

I get a 404 clicking on your htaccess file. Helpful if you can provide that... and also helpful if you can provide a direct link to the site in question.

It's parsing correctly. I plugged in:
And I get the same results as clicking on your link.
    Then I tried:
And I got the comment form.
My feeling is that if you only have time elements in your permalinks structure, WP won't treat it as a real permalink and hence not display comment fields.

Perhaps then I should post that as a feature request as my coding skills are minimal. On the one hand glad it's probably not me, as I was starting to feel real stupid, on the other hand, I really would like to be able to use only time stamps, as they are unique (unless, of course, you start editing the time stamp after you initially posted).
