Moving from managed WP to non-managed

    Hi,
    I have a site on Godaddy Managed WordPress which we will move to Strato non-managed.
    I suspect that the managed installation has quite a bit of code and possibly database entries that I don’t want on the non-managed installation.
    Does the plugin support to filter this?

    Hi @jofischer ,

    While with WP Clone you can only back up the complete database, you can make some folder exclusions within Advanced options within the plugin.

    For more refined exclusion rules, or rather more reliable and sophisticated backups and migrations, I recommend using the successor: Backup Migration plugin.
