    Hi,
I really need help before I give up and build my whole website again from scratch…
I’m trying to move my wordpress site from wamp localhost to an online server.
I’ve created a new database on the server, exported the localhost database and imported it to the new server, changed siteurl and home in wp_options to the new domain.
I’ve uploaded all my wordpress files from wamp www folder to the new server.
I’ve checked several times and all my links seem to be fine. But when I try to go to the domain all I get is a blank page. Same thing happens when I try to go to domain/wp-admin.
    What could be the problem??
    Please help!!

I’ve gone through that link so many times and still no luck. any other ideas?

Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.

Could be lots of different things.

If you can’t get this to work, rather than continuing to bang your head against the wall (we’ve all been there) just start over and use this plugin:
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Watch the video for the demonstration. Maybe I’m a wimp, but this thing makes the migration process so smooth, I can’t help but use it every time.

thanks so much! by using the duplicator i figured out my host wasn’t compatible, moved hosts and everything works! thank you
